We have been sailing the Biscayne Bay for over 15 years, just for the fun of it. We founded the company in 2018 to share the amazing experience of wind travel with others. Or as we like to say, share the magic.
You will meet the owners/guides David or JP, we are originally from Argentina and Venezuela but have been living in Miami for over 20 years.

We share a passion for protecting Biscayne Bay and it's wildlife and creating beautiful memories for our guests.

We also run a STEM Youth Sailing Program and have been lucky to explore many of the Bay wonders over the years. From snorkeling spots to mangrove forests.

Our float of Hobie Catamarans were created with surfing in mind and are designed to let you glide over the water and be in contact with your surroundings. Thanks to their convenient manoeuvrability and size, they will allow you to experience every corner of Biscayne Bay like no other boat can. These boats are extremely safe and comfortable for people of all ages.

@SaltyMiami is the only boat tour in Miami that's 100% powered by the wind, that's right! no engines. We are owner-operated, which means you will be treated like family.
We are less like a touristy tour and more like having your local friend taking you out sailing. We explore Biscayne Bay and its diverse wildlife, we visit sandbars, swim, snorkel (optional), walk through mangroves and islets and sometimes we also visit the Miami landmark Stiltsville.

We'll appreciate Miami's unique ecosystem, all while having fun and creating once in a lifetime memories.

We'll be watching for possible sightings of dolphins, manatees, starfish or amazing sunsets.
We'll spend about 3.5 hours on the Bay. We have some healthy snacks ready and water, but you can bring your own drinks and snacks too. Bring swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and additional clothing for after the sailing session.

After scheduling your experience, text us to let us know what time you want to come, we are flexible. Call us to confirm the weather too, it can be unpredictable, so in exceptional cases, we may need to reschedule for a later/earlier time or day.
We are licensed and insured, we provide life-vests and dry-bag.
